How Can I Create a Setup File in Operations Center?

Follow these steps to create a setup file that can be transferred to your equipment.

  1. Access the Setup Builder: In the Operations Center, click the Tools icon and select Setup Builder at the bottom.
  2. Choose Your Display Type: Pick the display type for your equipment.
  3. Create a File Name: Name your new setup file or modify an existing one.
  4. Start the Setup Process: Click Start to begin creating your setup file.
  5. Adjust the Filter Options: Use the filter on the left to save all client, farm, field info, and guidance tracks.
  6. Select Land and Guidance Tracks: In the Land section, check Name All Fields to include all fields, guidance lines, boundaries, and flags. Uncheck inaccurate boundaries.
  7. Include Variety Locator Information: For harvest setup, check Include Variety Locator Information to list crops in each field. Resolve any discrepancies.
  8. Proceed to Machines and Implements: Click Next, then select All Machines and All Implements.
  9. Select Products: Choose All Products to include chemicals, fertilizers, and tank mixes.
  10. Review and Create the File: Review details and click Create File.
  11. Wait for File Creation: The file will appear in File Manager. Wait until it turns green.
  12. Download or Transfer the File: Select the file for wireless transfer or download it. Use John Deere Data Manager for USB transfer.
  13. Transfer to USB: In John Deere Data Manager, select your USB location and click Transfer. You'll receive a confirmation notification.
  14. Import to Your Machine: Take the USB to your machine and import the setup file.
