To clean the undercarriage of your walk-behind mower, do the following steps.
1. To clean the undercarriage, first shut off the engine.
2. Tip the mower with the air filter facing up, check the amount of build up and ensure the blades are freely moving. Note, if they are not free moving, be extremely carful in cleaning, as a sudden release of tension in blades can cause injury
3.Use a stainless steel scraper to remove built-up grass.
4. For a deeper clean, rinse with a garden hose. Attach the hose to the washout port and run the mower briefly to clear clippings. Let the mower dry completely before storage.
