How Do I Create Prescriptions in the Operations Center?

Customize Your Field Management with the Agrarian Prescription Creator

  1. Access the Agrarian Prescription Creator:
    • Select the field you want to manage, click "Field Details," and choose the green "Prescription Creator" in the pop-up. You can also access it via the tools menu or Field Analyzer.
  2. Select Prescription Type:
    • In the Prescription Creator, choose the type: product application, seeding, or tillage. Tillage prescriptions work with True Set tools.
  3. Ensure Field Boundary:
    • Ensure a field boundary is set, as it's needed for a prescription.
  4. Choose Prescription Drawing Method:
    • Select how to draw the prescription from options like an average yield map, a single field operation, manual zones, or a soil map.
  5. Select Yield Data:
    • Choose the average yield, including all corn harvest years, and click "Next."
  6. Process Information:
    • The system processes the data, pre-loading five zones with a minimum of 0.125 acres each. Adjust as needed.
  7. Add Products or Varieties:
    • Decide to add a chemical or variety. For a variety, select from your list and set the seeding rate, or use the distribute function for automatic rate distribution.
  8. Review Zone Acreage:
    • The system shows acres per zone, aiming for similar sizes.
  9. Save Your Prescription:
    • Click "Save" to store the prescription in the Files Manager, ready for machine transfer or USB download.
  10. Transfer Prescription:
    • Transfer directly to equipment via JDLink Connect or download to a USB.
