Setting Up Varieties in Product Manager
- Access Product Manager: Go to the tools icon and find "Product Manager" to manage your varieties.
- Utilize the Filter: Use the black filter area on the left to narrow your list. For example, check the corn option to view only corn varieties. You can also filter by crop type or product form.
- Available vs. Archived Products: Use the "Available" and "Archived" buttons at the top of the filter. "Available" shows usable products, while "Archived" items are hidden and can't be sent to displays. You can make archived items available again without losing data.
- Adding New Varieties: Click "Add Product" in the top right corner to search John Deere's database. Select a variety, edit its name, assign a brand, and choose the crop type. The variety will be added to your list.
- Archiving Varieties: To remove varieties from your active list, check them and select "Archive."
