• Open the Equipment Mobile app on your phone.

• Select the option to add equipment.

• Use your phone’s camera to scan the machine’s serial number—no need to type it in.

2. Enter the Serial Number Manually

• If you don’t want to scan, tap the manual entry option.

• Type in your machine’s serial number as it appears on the equipment.

3. Search by Model

• If you don’t have the serial number handy, search using your model number.

• Find and select your specific John Deere model from the list.

4. Assign a Nickname (Optional)

• Give your machine a unique nickname to help you quickly recognize it in the app.

• Useful for operations with multiple pieces of similar equipment.
