What is AutoPath™?

AutoPath™ is a precision guidance technology included in the G5 Advanced package that automatically creates accurate guidance tracks for the entire field, aligning every machine pass—from tillage through harvest—using either row data from the planter or advanced field boundaries.

AutoPath™ (Rows): Ideal for Row Crop Operations

• Purpose: Uses row data documented during a preliminary pass (such as planting) to create guidance lines for all subsequent operations.

• Benefits:

  • Ensures precise and consistent passes throughout the season

  • Adapts to changing row spacing and implement widths

AutoPath™ (Boundaries): Perfect for Non-Row and Specialty Operations

• Purpose: Generates guidance lines using an advanced driven field boundary recorded with a high-accuracy SF-RTK correction signal.

• Benefits:

  • Removes guesswork for irregular or new crop fields

  • Speeds up initial setup, especially for non-row crops and changing field sizes

  • Ensures even coverage from boundary to boundary.

• When to Use:

  • For specialty crops, new fields, or when planting boundaries have changed

  • In fields where traditional rows are not present

How to Set Up AutoPath™: Step-by-Step

1. Document Initial Pass or Boundary:

   • For rows, ensure the planter documents the row location using AutoPath™ compatible equipment

   • For boundaries, drive the field boundary with the SF-RTK signal for the highest accuracy.

2. Select AutoPath™ Mode on Display:

   • Choose between "Rows" or "Boundaries" as the guidance source, depending on your operation.

3. Generate and Review Tracks:

   • G5 Advanced automatically creates guidance lines for every subsequent operation—review lines before starting fieldwork.

4. Begin Field Operation:
