What Happens During a Koenig Property Plan Visit?
Here is exactly what to expect when a Koenig specialist comes out to walk your property and build your equipment plan.
A working visit, made simple
A Property Plan visit usually takes about 75 minutes. It is a relaxed, walk-the-land conversation. It's not a high-pressure meeting. Knowing what to expect ahead of time helps you get the most out of it. Here is how the visit flows.
Before we arrive
A Koenig specialist prepares for your visit ahead of time. We review the details you shared on your intake form, pull an aerial map of your property, and note your terrain, driveway, wooded areas, and outbuildings. You will get a confirmation and a heads-up before we arrive, so you know who is coming and when.
To make the visit as productive as possible, it helps to have everyone who is part of the decision present, and to think about the jobs you most want handled on your land.
Step 1: Getting started
When we arrive, we will take a few minutes to confirm what you want to get out of the visit and how much time we have. This is your time, so we want to make sure we cover what matters most to you.
Step 2: Reviewing your needs
Before heading outside, we will sit down briefly to talk through your current equipment, your biggest pain points, and your timeline. This helps us understand where you are starting from and what success looks like for your property.
Step 3: Walking your property, zone by zone
This is the heart of the visit. We walk the property with you and look at each area by the job it needs to do:
- Mowing — lawn, pasture, and field areas
- Loader and hauling — moving topsoil, gravel, mulch, manure, or brush
- Driveway — grading, potholes, washouts, and snow
- Brush and woodland — clearing, overgrowth, fallen trees, and trails
- Garden and food plots — tilling and planting
- Animal and livestock care — feed, bedding, and material handling
- Storage — where your equipment lives and how much room you have
As we walk, we often spot needs you might not have thought about — like a box blade for that long gravel driveway, or a storage-friendly solution if your barn is already full.
Step 4: Building your plan
After the walk, we sit down and put together your options in a simple format, so you can clearly see what fits your property and your budget. We will talk through equipment, attachments, financing, trade-in value, and the Implement Membership Program — all in plain language, framed around the jobs you actually need done.
Step 5: Your questions, your decision
We will walk through any questions or concerns together and make sure you have everything you need. There is no pressure to decide on the spot. Whether you are ready now or still planning, we will agree on a clear next step that works for you.
What happens after the visit?
We follow up with a written Property Plan, usually within a day, summarizing your property's needs and your equipment options. From there, we are here whenever you are ready — to answer questions, run financing numbers, or schedule a demo.
