Steps to address a bent pulley on your mower deck

  1. Safety First
    • Turn off the mower and let the engine cool. Disconnect the battery to avoid accidental starts.
  2. Inspect the Pulley
    • Check the pulley for bending or damage and ensure alignment with the belt and other pulleys. Inspect the belt and nearby parts for wear or damage.
  3. Remove the Bent Pulley

  4. Replace or Repair the Pulley
  5. Reinstall the New or Repaired Pulley
