Where to Store Your Battery
Keep your battery running strong by keeping it in an indoor location that is insulated.
Remove the battery if your mower will sit idle for more than a few weeks in below-freezing conditions, especially in uninsulated spaces. Choose a location above 32°F, such as an interior room or garage, away from direct heat like radiators or high-humidity areas like basements with poor ventilation. Avoid leaving it on the mower outdoors or in cold sheds to prevent unnecessary wear.
